Tour Details

In the late autumn, at the southern end of Gyeongsangnam-do, create an unforgettable weekend in the clean village of Hamyang, surrounded by pristine nature.

Visit the traditional hanok village in Hamyang, known as the birthplace of scholars, and glimpse into the lifestyle of scholars. Take a stroll through the magnificent forest that has been preserved for over a thousand years.

Our trip also includes social trips, where we engage in activities that can help the Hamyang area. Join in the restoration of old houses, which are transforming into wonderful workshops for young people, in run-down vacant houses. Help create a better space for local youth to engage in artistic activities.

Sanglim park

Sanglim Park is the largest park in Hamyang, built around a forest created by Choi Chi-won, a scholar with a history of 1,100 years. Take a walk through the lush forest to purify your lungs and take great photos with seasonal flowers.

Gyepyeong village

Gaepyeong Village is a Hanok village in Hamyang that preserves many old houses, including ‘Ildu House’, the home of Jeong Yeo-chang, a representative scholar of the Joseon Dynasty. You can also experience a traditional liquor experience center and a Hanok cafe with over 500 years of history visited by past presidents.

Welcome party with BBQ

We stay in a special residence accommodation where we can enjoy a variety of experiences, and enjoy a welcome party with a barbecue in the space provided at the accommodation. Have fun eating with different people and get to know them.

Helping studio construction

Around the residence, there is a construction site that is being transformed from an empty house into a workspace for young local people. Please join us in completing the workspace so that young people can work in a better space.
