We’re so excited to have you with us on our second trip to Hamyang this year!
Be prepared to embark on a journey like no other, where you will meet new friends and enjoy new experiences in South Korea’s village of Hamyang.
A social trip, or social tourism, prioritizes engaging with local communities, cultures, and individuals over visiting popular destinations or leisure activities. It aims to connect with people, understand their lifestyles, and participate in local activities and projects.
Our main goals are to foster cultural understanding, promote sustainable tourism practices, and support the local economy, while also giving you a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Hamyang is a pristine village located in the southern part of South Korea, in South Gyeongsang Province. It is known for its picturesque natural landscapes that include 16 mountain peaks, deep valleys, and tranquil forests. Scholars in Hamyang often found inspiration in the numerous pavilions erected around Hwalim Valley.
From the serene trails of Sanglim Park to the historic corridors of Namgye Seowon, each site is a portal to the essence of Korean heritage.
