We are Planet Zoom-In, a travel agency based in South Korea that specializes in sustainable travel. We travel around South Korea experiencing the culture and giving back to the communities. We provide customized social trips that can be done at major domestic and foreign travel destinations by issuing “fun social contribution activities”. Instead of spending millions of won every year, we look for ways that we can contribute to society without spending a lot of money giving a sense of accomplishment.
We develop programs that are based on local and environmental conservation activities. We customize the activity to what you are looking for while also providing you the best that Seoul has to offer in terms of food, travel, and activities. Each event has a different theme so you never feel like you are doing the same thing over again allowing for deeper cultural experience. Our trips include getting to know the culture through cultural activities such as making food, learning the Korean language, and more.
Our social events focus on supporting vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, the disabled, and homeless. From volunteering at a soup kitchen to rescuing dogs to helping the homeless get back on their feet, there is something for everyone. Visit a soup kitchen and feed the homeless, rescue dogs that were kept on illegal dog farms, help the homeless sell magazines or even help plant trees near the Han River.
Do all this and more, and it’s not just in Seoul. You can also take a trip outside of Seoul for a weekend to places like Hamyang and enjoy ginseng makgeolli, or visit Paju for trekking and plogging (jogging and picking up litter), or experience eco hiking and paragliding while in Yangpyeong.
